Hiding the Followers Tab on Instagram?
It has been heard that Instagram is working on adding a new one to its updates to increase privacy. Accordingly, it may be possible to hide the followers’ tab in the new process. According to the news announced by mobile application developer Alessandro Paluzzi, users on Instagram can hide the number of followers from being seen by others if they want.
How will this new feature work?
“Instagram is working on the ability to hide the number of followers in the profile,” Paluzzi announced on his Twitter account. In other words, if a user wants, they can optimize the followers’ tab so they can only see it. In other words, with this feature coming soon, Instagram users can close the followers’ tab to the outside. This will prevent us from seeing how many people follow that account. And, of course, the people who follow that account will no longer be visible due to this new feature.
Common Followers will be Hidden
Instagram is not only making a privacy-oriented improvement to the followers’ tab. Instagram is also working on hiding the phrase “mutual followers.” As it is known, if you are on a profile with mutual followers, you may encounter the phrase “x person and others are following.” With the innovation that Instagram will make in this regard, only the message “Followed by others” will now appear. Thus, you will need help to see who your familiar followers are with that profile.
